The Challenge

Lack of visibility and real-time reporting during production led to an increased amount of inedible product and posed potential food safety compliance risks at the Haltom City, Texas plant producing 58 varieties of meals on a stick.

The Solution

Implemented FactoryTalk VantagePoint and Historian software to gather, store, aggregate, correlate and present production information in real-time. Microsoft Surface tablets extended operator mobility. Standardized on Logix control platform with EtherNet/IP. Grantek Systems Integration led system design and implementation.
