The Challenge

Robopac, a global leader in packaging machine manufacturing with capacity for 50,000 machines per year across seven facilities, was experiencing growing demand in both volume and variety. Customers were requesting increasingly customized products, and the company needed greater flexibility without compromising cycle time or quality.

The Solution

Robopac selected Siemens Opcenter as their MOM platform for the Robopac Smart Factory project. Opcenter was integrated with ERP and warehouse management systems, and supported AGV implementation along production lines. The solution covered scheduling, manufacturing, reporting, and quality control.

Results

Robopac is moving toward a 50% production capacity increase through the Smart Factory initiative. The Opcenter platform optimized advanced scheduling, supported automated guided vehicle integration, and enabled greater process flexibility for customized product configurations.
