Mead Johnson's Netherlands infant nutrition plant had aging control infrastructure with some components becoming obsolete. The plant produces super-premium infant nutrition for China and required replacement of its clean-in-place kitchen and control architecture while maintaining strict hygiene standards.
A future-ready clean-in-place kitchen and integrated architecture was deployed in collaboration with Actemium and Milkron. Rockwell Automation supplied hardware engineering, electrical schematics, control panels, and functional design software through testing and commissioning.
The plant received a scalable integrated architecture that seamlessly integrates into the existing production process. The new CIP kitchen eliminates obsolescence risk and supports future expansion with a future-ready control platform.
