Merit Automotive, a global supplier of complex mechatronics modules and switches to the automotive industry, needed to enhance competitiveness and cost efficiency with a standardized quality management approach. After benchmarking many solution providers, Merit implemented Opcenter Quality software from Siemens to provide a complete quality solution over the entire product lifecycle. The system enhanced engineering duties, gathered all data in one place for transparency, and allowed cross-communication between different sites.

Merit achieved a full quality closed-loop cycle and continuous improvement methodology. The solution automated redundant tasks, collected data from other systems, and made it available at any time. Merit is planning to extend the solution to all manufacturing sites globally.
